Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see
you or only hear about you in my absence, I will know that you stand firm in the one Spirit, [a] striving together
as one for the faith of the gospel

TRUE VINE PLEASE REMEMBER IT’S NOW FLU SEASON AND HERE IS SOME INFORMATION TO BE MINDFUL OF..... The first and most important step in preventing flu is to get a flu vaccine each year. Flu viruses spread mainly by tiny droplets made when people with flu cough, sneeze or when talking. Some people are at higher risk than others. This includes people 65 years and older, those who are immunocompromised, pregnant women, and children younger than 5 years. It is important to wash your hands on a regular basis to decrease infection. Remember, the goal is to limit the spread of the flu this year as much as possible in our church, community and work place.
True Vine Save the Date...To kick off GO RED, Dr. Travis Batts will return to speak to True Vine about heart health awareness. His topic will be HOLI-Healthy Outcomes with Lifestyle interventions, preventing heart disease in men, and children. This presentation will be followed by a meal demonstration maximizing a heart healthy meal. Lunch will also be served. Please sign up at the information desk if you are interested in attending as we would like to meet the needs of those who would like lunch.
Pastor Grice will be teaching Newcomers Orientation on Sunday February 3rd at 9:00 am in the Main Sanctuary. Sign-up sheets are located at the Deacons table in foyer. Any questions contact Deacon Daniels.
Teen Camp is approaching and it’s time to start saving. We are suggesting that parents start to save $35.00 a month per teen that will attend. Camp is for 6th to 12th grade students and will be at Alto Frio Camp in Leakey, TX. Sign-up for camp is coming soon. See Deacon Tory Sephus for any questions.
The True Vine Sports Ministry is looking for volunteers to lead and/or work in some of this year's sports events we are planning. If you have a desire to mentor and disciple some of our youth and adults through sports to further share and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ, please sign-up at the Information Desk in the Lobby or see Deacon Paul Raeford.
True Vine Drama Ministry is seeking actors and actresses between the ages of 16–100 to perform in our Saturday, April 6th – 2:00 pm Easter Drama. We are looking for dedicated individuals who are willing to make a seven (7) week commitment to the play. Our goal is to celebrate and tell a spectacular story to our surrounding community about our Resurrected Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, how He still forgives, Loves and saves. We would like to encourage students, amateur actors and those who have never acted to come out and audition. Auditions will be held: Monday, January 28th, Friday, February 1st and Monday, February 4th from 7:00 – 8:00 pm in Sanctuary I. All are welcome! For further details please see Sis Audrey Johnson or Sis Sharon Dixon; information is also available at the Information Desk.
